We are a PTO Bronze Event!
We are thrilled to announce that our Carglass® CGN Triathlon has been awarded the rank of PTO Rankings Bronze Event!
This makes our race the sole race in Germany outside the Challenge and Ironman series to be listed in the Professional Triathletes Organisation (PTO) ranking.
The pro athletes at our race will now not only be competing for the total prize money of 13.200€ but also for valuable points for the PTO World Ranking. The exact number of PTO points will be calculated by Bronze label award, the strength of field and the positioning and finish time of the athletes compared to the other participants.
This puts us on the international map in only our third year of existence and makes us appealing to international pro athletes. Just as with the cycling race “Rund um Köln” and the Generali Cologne Marathon we are going to attract world-class athletes to race in Cologne!
